Vancouver Island Bracken Fern Necklace

This necklace is made from a real piece of bracken fern that has been preserved and plated in copper using a process called electroforming.

Each necklace will look a little different due to the nature of working with real plants.

Electroforming, sometimes called electroplating, involves using electricity to plate items with metal. This allows you to preserve the delicate shapes and textures of real organic materials and other unique elements. This process takes 1-5 days depending on the size.
